A Selection of Designs
Some societies need a site that is ready to go with the addition of a little copy and a few images. Others have volunteers or staff waiting in the wings to carefully craft the perfect website. Roots & Code has options for all skill levels, allowing you to create a site that works, without pushing you into a pre-set box.
Regardless of the option you choose, you can make the site yours by adding your logo, selecting colors, and, of course, filling it with your own content.
Keep it Simple
Simple doesn’t mean basic. When you sign up, select from one of our pre-selected layouts, then customize it with your logo and color scheme. We’ve spoken with societies, genealogists, and researchers to provide a selection of design options and features that meet most needs. All designs work well on mobile and desktop devices and come with our popular modules already activated. Just decide which you like, add your content, set your colors, and be ready to go!
And don’t worry, you can still activate any of our other modules and add additional pages as needed.

Make It Yours
Start from (almost) scratch. Choose everything from colors to fonts, and create your own page layouts. Use the power of WordPress Gutenberg blocks to create your layout, your way. We’ll provide a flexible theme to help get you started, and access to all of our modules for you to select. You create the site of your dreams!
